Cost for sofa removal and disposal
The curb rate for removing and hauling away a couch, sofa, or a sofa-bed, is $90. Each additional item is discounted by 50%. The size of the couch does not matter. If a sectional furniture set has 2 couches, then the rate will be based on two couches. For smaller items within the sectional set, there will be significant discounts, since they are of a small size.
How to book a pick up for your couch
The best way to start the process is to give us a call on 604-910-7549. We will have few questions for you, after which you will have a date and an hour at which you can expect one of our team to arrive at your house. Usually, we need few days advance notice, but we could be able to pick up your sofa on the same day of your call, if we are in your area, or if you need an urgent service.
Donation and Reuse of furniture
Some of the furniture that we remove, will be donated to charities. If a sofa is in a good and clean condition, our team will take it to Value Village or other charitable organizations in Vancouver. This is a bit more labour intensive, but we save on the disposal fees at the city landfill. This way, less garbage is added to Vancouver, and someone gets a free couch.
